The Lucky Holiday

The Lucky Holiday

Emma and her family went on a holiday to the beach. They stayed in a small house next door to a kind old lady named Mrs. Rose.

"Hello!" said Mrs. Rose with a huge smile. "Welcome to our village! I hope you have a wonderful time here."

Mrs. Rose was very friendly. Every morning, she brought them delicious homemade cookies that were still warm.

On the third day, Emma found a shiny shell on the beach. It was smooth and ripe orange in color, like a sunset.

"That's a lucky shell," said Mrs. Rose. "Keep it as a souvenir from your trip!"

Emma smiled. She felt so happy. This was the best holiday ever, thanks to the kind lady next door.
